This application functions as an alarm system that provides notifications at various times of the day, including dawn, sunrise, sunset, and dusk. It is particularly useful for individuals looking to begin activities shortly after sunrise. The app allows users to determine the exact timings of these events for their current location and other major cities instantly, even if local notifications are not enabled.

The application utilizes traditional Japanese definitions for dawn and dusk, established during the samurai era, which closely resemble civil twilight. Civil twilight occurs when the sun's center is 6° below the horizon, while dawn and dusk are defined by the sun's center being 7.3611° below the horizon. Enabling the civil twilight mode ensures that dawn and dusk align with civil dawn and civil dusk.
